Our Story

2 YEARS OF BLACKHAWK FOOTBALL

The Alconbury Blackhawks were founded in 2025 from the remains of the Kent Spitfires in G3. The team Lock, Stock & barrel moved to Alconbury, Huntingdonshire. What began as a group of 24 players training in an unused G4 Stadium has grown into one of the most respected clubs in the Southern Division.

The club's early years will be defined by grit and determination. Playing in a perfect kit colour scheme for our club and vision. Our founding members built something from very little — a culture of hard work, community, and pride that defines the Blackhawks today and into our future.

The 2026 seasons will hopefully bring sustained success on the field, The current squad is widely regarded as the most talented in the club's history, Something that we can also build on. This will be our Inaugural season, and will allow us to see where we are against other new teams to G4. But we will build on whatever we learn. Onwards and upwards.

Off the field, the Blackhawks have invested heavily in youth development, community outreach, and facilities. Blackhawk Stadium — opened in 2025 — has become a genuine home ground, with a growing and passionate fanbase that turns out in force every home game.
